I have started shadowing four days a week now, and it has been great. I have learned so much about how to transition between lesson, and keep the kids focused. Today, I worked with second grade, I think this is my favorite grade of them all. I love the age of the students and I really love the curriculum.
Today I helped students with Imagine It, telling time the hour and half hour, and the physical changes of matter. We did an experiment with ice cubes and how to melt the cube the fastest. The students loved the experiment, and it kept them intrigued throughout the lesson.
So far so good, and next week I get to work with Kindergarten...I cannot wait.
